MentorNet Provides Professional On-Line Tutoring

MentorNet was created to help students in Science and Engineering based fields become more confident with their chosen career field.  MentorNet pairs students with mentors working in their field of interest.  Students from all fields of study are welcome to join, but certain fields may not have mentor representation.  MentorNet will pair a student, or protégé,  with a professional from industry to form an email based mentoring relationship.  These mentors will help by giving “real world” information, encouragement, or any advice that would aid their protégé's success.  These mentoring relationships help students to gain an increased confidence in their academic choices and fields of study.   Visit mentornet.net to join or contact Susan Liebau for more information at slliebau@mtu.edu or 487-3539
